    About Billy

    Billy Pang immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 2000. In 2014, he was elected as a York Region District School Board Trustee. He was first elected in 2018 as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Markham—Unionville and was re-elected in 2022. Billy was appointed in 2021 as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Citizenship & Multiculturalism, followed by his appointment in 2024 as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education. Billy is resolute in his mission to represent and advocate for the residents of Markham—Unionville.
