Celebrations, Events, and Meeting Constituents

Markham, Richmond Hill & Vaughan Chinese Business Association (MRVCBA) - It was my pleasure to attend the press conference for the MRVCBA’s 2021 Charity Golf Tournament. It’s fantastic that a portion of the proceeds from this tournament will be donated in charitable support to the Mackenzie Health Foundation and Hong Fook Mental Health.

Dr. Christine Li – I thank Dr. Li for a most interesting and informative conversation about Ontario’s optical care system. Our government values the ongoing commitment from optometrists in Ontario to provide quality eye health and vision care for Ontarians.

St. Maurice & St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church (SMSV) - I was very appreciative for the opportunity to attend Sunday service at SMSV. It was a highlight to present to your congregation with a Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the Premier of Ontario and myself. Thank you for your generosity which continues to support our communities during this challenging time.

BBQ at Wyndham Gardens – Upon their generous invitation, I attended the Unionville Home Society’s recent Bar-B-Q. This was the first in-person celebration for Wyndham Gardens residents and staff since the pandemic began. It was great to see everyone on this beautiful day!

Community Engagement and Family Support Centre (CEFS) - I was delighted to attend the Canada Day Essay Award and Art Award Ceremony, created and hosted by the CEFS. Many thanks for the invitation and congratulations to all the award winners and participants on a job well done!
