Stay-at-Home Order - This order comes down to asking ourselves a simple question: Is leaving home absolutely essential? If the answer isn’t an immediate and emphatic ‘yes’ then please stay home. We all play a major role in stopping the spread. Please stay home, stay safe, save lives. watch video.

  Union Villa LTC COVID-19 Vaccination - I was delighted to share that Unionville Home Society LTC here in Markham-Unionville received the Moderna vaccine ahead of planned schedule and started administering it on January 8th, 2020. I also had the pleasure of meeting some bright and dedicated individuals from Union Villa's COVID-19 Vaccination Team. For video, click here.
   
Gas Tax Program - Ontario is providing $16,943,429 in funding to York Region through Ontario’s Gas Tax Program. Through this program, it will further support and improve public transit in Markham-Unionville, York Region and communities across the province. For more info, click here.  
   

Chinese Cultural Media Conference Call - Thank you to the Minister of Long-Term Care, Hon. Merrilee Fullerton, for hosting this event - great questions were asked related to long-term care. It was a pleasure to moderate and join my fellow caucus colleagues MPP Wai and MPP Ke, in this call. 

 

   

Virtual Talent Show and Christmas Decoration Event - Thank you to constituents of #MarkhamUnionville who attended my virtual celebration. Provincial Updates

   

Vaccine Milestone - We have reached a key milestone in the fight against #COVID19, completing the first round of vaccinations in all #LongTermCare homes in Toronto, Peel, York, Windsor-Essex, Ottawa Public Health Unit, Durham Region and Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. Outline for Phase Two of COVID-19 Vaccine - Ontario has released an update on Phase 2 of its #COVID19 vaccine implementation, including our approach for identifying the next groups of Ontarians to receive the vaccination starting as early as March 2021. Click here to learn more.

   

Ontario Small Business Support Grant - Applications are now open for small business support. This grant will provide eligible small businesses affected by the Provincewide Shutdown. For more on eligibility and to apply, click here
